Rathbones, one of the UK’s leading providers of investment management services, has partnered with Lacrosse Scotland since 2011. Their support has been integral to the continued growth and development of lacrosse in Scotland.
Rathbones Funding Applications
Rathbones and Lacrosse Scotland have entered a 3 year partnership where LS receives funding from Rathbones. A percentage of this funding is used to meet the requirements of the partnership agreement and this includes venue costs and associated costs of running a Rathbones attended event agreed by the Lacrosse Scotland board (this may vary from year to year).
The Lacrosse Scotland board has agreed that the majority of these funds received from Rathbones will be used for the development of lacrosse within Scotland across all levels of Mens/Mixed/Womens/Juniors/Schools. The Lacrosse Scotland board has discretion over how these funds are awarded.
Application for Funds:
Anyone applying for the funds is required to fill in the Rathbones Fund Application form available from the Lacrosse Scotland office. The form should be filled out detailing what the funding is required for and full details of the associated costs for these activities. The Rathbones Funding Committee can chose to award the full amount requested, part of the amount requested or no award at all. The Rathbones Funding Committee can seek further information and details from the applicant ahead of making a decision.
The Rathbones Funding Committee:
• Julia Clarke (nee Taylor)
• Rob Powell
• Charlie Biggar
All approvals will be made by the Rathbones Funding Committee. The details for applications and approvals will be included within the Sponsorship summary within the Communications and Secretariat board reports. The Treasurer will give details of approved applications payments and current balance remaining of the Rathbones funding in their board reports. Funding will be approved up to 50% of total cost of the event.
